ABOUT US

Our History

Established in 2014, the Gepps Cross Futsal Club has been a leading club in the development of Futsal in South Australia.

Our Men’s team currently participates in the State Futsal League South Australia, whilst our Women play in the W-State Futsal League South Australia.

Our women’s team won the SAFL Women’s Premier League in their debut season with a perfect record, earning qualification to the Series Futsal Australia Cup.

The Gepps Cross Women’s Futsal Club were crowned Series Futsal Australia National Champions in Melbourne in April 2017 and were runners-up in Adelaide is September 2017.

Our men’s team first competed in Division 3 in 2014 and gained promotion in our inaugural season whilst also earning an SAFL Cup runners up honour.

In 2015, our men won promotion to the SAFL Premier League by winning the Division 2 title, earning themselves the SAFL Shield in the process.

A successful first season in the top flight saw our men finish runners-up, only 2 points behind the champions. During the campaign we won our first major trophy, the SAFL Cup, against the Newton Kings.

The Gepps Cross Men have made 5 appearances at the Series Futsal Australia Cup whilst the Women have made 2.

Our club motto is ‘Vires In Unum’ which translates to ‘Strength In Unity’. Gepps Cross Futsal Club is based on a united level with both men’s and women’s teams respectful of each other and all other teams associated with the club itself.
